Mr. Mark Perry co-founded Oregan Networks in 1997, and initially led the company's technology innovation as CTO. Since 1999, when Perry assumed CEO responsibilities, he has been defining the company's strategic vision and representing Oregan Networks to key global partners and clients.
Perry has established a strong global presence for the company, which operates from headquarters in London (UK) with branch offices in Austin (USA) and sales locations in Japan and Taiwan and Continental Europe. He has been responsible for building an impressive array of licensees for Oregan technology, which include Sony, Philips, National Semiconductor, Cirrus Logic, NTT, Proton and MCI WorldCom.
Perry has a first class honours degree in microelectronic engineering, with postgraduate qualifications in finance and business development. Prior to co-founding Oregan, Perry held consultant and management roles with Acorn Computers (acquired by Pace Micros), Lucas Engineering and StenaLine - specialising in development and deployment of digital video and network technologies.
Milya Timergaleyeva - VP Marketing
Ms. Milya Timergaleyeva is responsible for Oregan Networks corporate and product brand development, industry marketing and PR communications. Her role involves market analysis and formulation of Oregan's product differentiation strategy within the Internet premium content delivery market.
Prior to joining Oregan, Milya Timergaleyeva held senior marketing and business analyst roles in fine arts and online entertainment sectors: Victor Chandler Group, Coral Eurobet and Ten Doeshatte Buisman Group. Prior to that, Ms. Timergaleyeva had a successful linguistic career, working as a conference interpreter for California-based Boeing Launch Services (Sea Launch) during commercial satellite launch missions.
Asa Wersall - Financial Controller
Mrs. Wersäll maintains Oregan’s systems of internal financial planning and control, as well as advising the board on business modelling and commercial planning, in compliance with statutory requirements. She has an MSc in Chemical Engineering and an MBA in International Trade.
Reed Hinkel - VP Business Development Americas
Mr Reed Hinkel is in charge of Oregan's business development and customer relations in North and South American regions. He manages Oregan's business engagements throughout all stages of project delivery from partner identification through to contract negotiation and post sales business support.
Reed Hinkel is an eloquent speaker and has represented Oregan Networks at a multitude of industry conferences and symposiums. Hinkel is a seasoned marketing and business development executive with over 15 years of experience in the consumer and computer electronics industry. Prior to joining Oregan, Mr. Hinkel held senior marketing and product management roles in the broadband, multimedia and wireless semiconductor sectors at Cirrus Logic, Inc. and SigmaTel, Inc. Prior to that, Mr. Hinkel operated a successful strategic marketing and business development company specializing in development of emerging solutions in consumer and computer electronics.
Jan E Berglund - Chairman
Mr. Jan Berglund joined the Oregan board on behalf of ITS at their time of investment in Oregan and has subsequently played a fundamental role in key strategy formulation and decision-making within the company.
Berglund is a Swedish citizen who holds a doctorate in industrial engineering and a Masters degree in business administration. He is currently a board member of five British and three Swedish companies. He was one of the founders and Managing Director of ITS, and has been on the board of several of its successful investee companies which have been sold to companies including Halma Plc, Life Sciences Plc, Smith Industries Plc, Ameritech Inc, JDS Uniphase Inc, Kobe Steel and Otsuka Pharmaceuticals.
Nic Bourne - Non-executive Board Director
Prior to co-founding Oregan Networks, Bourne held the position of Managing Director of a performance stage lighting company, maintaining contracts with a number of leading performing artists. He also worked as a consultant to StenaLine, managing the deployment of an onboard interactive science park.
