Media browser and BBC iPlayer for living room TVs
Oregan launched the Onyx browser to retail consumers as technology powering the high profile, industry first connected TV featuring UK's pioneering BBC iPlayer catch-up service, as well as an array of other free-to-view web video services. The TV is also equipped with digital rights management technology, allowing delivery of premium Hollywood content services Entertainment, news and social networking services such as Twitter, are accessed on-screen through an animated carousel, and dynamically updated as soon as new information, content or messages become available via the Internet connection. Based on consumer feedback gathered through dedicated end-user forums, new applications are regularly deployed to iViewer via remote download.

Oregan was contracted by SCEE to port its middleware and TV browser onto Sony PlayStation 2, enabling online multiplayer gaming functionality as well as enhancing the console's interactivity and entertainment features. Oregan was engaged by Philips ITV to develop a customized version of its TV browser and VOD client. Oregan's software is embedded on the latest generation Video over IP module, installed in Philips hotel Pay TV and institutional TV deployments worldwide. Oregan's solution provides delivery of VOD and IPTV content from a Kasenna video server, in addition to Internet web browsing and interactive services.

Oregan provides IPTV client and TV browser technology used in STBs deployed by telecommunications giant NTT, for delivery of video over IP services on high-speed xDSL networks in Japan. Oregan's software provides a comprehensive solution for Japanese market requirements, including keyboard Input Method Editors and predictive text input solutions that mirror the human interface of a Japanese iMode phone.

Tranzas manufactures and distributes VOD STBs to leading hospitality operators and real estate developers in the Japanese market. Oregan's software provides delivery of VOD and IPTV content from an RTSP controlled video server, in addition to Internet web browsing and interactive services.

Access Devices licenses Oregan's TV browser for embedding in its Digital TV and Internet TV STBs, enabling access to Internet web sites and interactive services. Previously a licensee of the ANT Fresco browser, Access Devices subsequently selected the Oregan TV browser for its rich feature set and Oregan's flexible ability to customize and support the solution. Access Devices has worldwide customers for its products including Novapal and Daewoo.
